Day 3

Road Trip from Seward to Homer......Monday August 29

So yesterday we checked off glaciers and sea life, today we checked off bear and moose.  This place is amazing.

We left Seward  this morning with plans to take a 18 mile "non state maintained road"  on our way to Homer into the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge in hopes of seeing a bear or moose.

First we saw the scat
Yummy, berries

Yep, they have been here

And then, out of now where.....BEAR

With nothing but the backdrop in the rearview, we were on to Homer and our Airbnb for the night

Our Airbnb host suggested Captain Pattie's for supper

And then on the way back from Homer, our prized moose.

Another great day!
