Day 1

We rode about 492 miles today and are staying the night in Shelbyville, KY, which is just outside of Louisville KY. Tomorrow we're gonna try to make it to Kansas City, KS, which is about 500 miles away. The weather was great today until midway across Kentucky and then we got caught up in road constructions and detours and it got hot. All in all, we had a great day. We hope to be in Colorado by Wednesday evening and then we can slow down and start to take in the back roads and scenic byways.
